Early labor union pin picturing a young John Mitchell, head of the United Mine Workers. Breaker boys were mine workers, usually very young, who separated coal from impurities by hand in a breaker box. This scarce 1 1/4-inch sepia celluloid has a Levine Specialty Co. of Indianapolis back paper. Excellent condition.
