Joe Cronin was the manager and starting shortstop for the Washington Senators in 1933. That was a big year for the Senators -- they won the American League pennant before losing in the World Series to the New York Giants. This was the last world series played in Washington, D.C. until 2012. This 1 3/4-inch celluloid with Garrison's back paper is excellent. Al Anderson collection.
