Henry Ford's political career traveled a different road. In 1918, he ran for the US Senate in Michigan at the urging of Woodrow Wilson and lost. In 1924, Ford was mentioned as both a presidential and Senate possibility. He played it coy with his presidential aspirations and didn't discourage a nationwide movement in his support. He eventually gave his support to Calvin Coolidge and that was that. This 7/8 inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper is a rare Ford item from 1924. It comes from the Al Anderson collection and is in excellent condition.
