Helen Gahagan Douglas for senator California 7/8-inch celluloid, excellent condition. Douglas, a former actress and wife of actor Melvyn Douglas, ran against Richard Nixon in the 1950 race for the US Senate when Nixon famously called her the "pink lady" an said she was "pink right down to her underwear," in reference to her liberal campaign.
