Dayton, home of James M. Cox, is known as the Gem City. This 10-inch ribbon with pin and attached Democratic rooster was made for members of the Gem City Club who backed Cox for the Democratic nomination at the 1920 convention in San Francisco. Ribbon has some places where fabric is pulled and hole next to the rooster.
