A magnificent James Garfield brass shell ferrotype. This 1880 piece is one of the sharpest Garfield ferros we’ve ever seen. Garfield image is very clean with sharp details, attached to eagle pin at top. It’s a rare 1 1/4 by 2 1/8 inch item in excellent condition.
