The Santa Anita Pacemaker was a newspaper published by Japanese-Americans who were interned during World War II. This is a set of 37 newspapers published from May 5, 1942 until Sept. 8, 1942. Each paper is a four-page, 8 1/2 by 14-inch item. Most are stained or have a few holes punched at top. A really unusual collection.
