Winfield Scott 5 inch paper ballot from 1852, pinhole. We originally thought this was a North Carolina ballot, but it turns out Virginia and North Carolina have a lot of the same town names. The clincher is in 1852 Virginia had 15 congressional districts and North Carolina had 10, so this is as Virginia ballot. Thanks to our friend Milo Pyne for pointing this out.
