The Votes for Women song bird sings for women's rights on this classic suffrage piece from early in the 20th century. This beautiful 12-inch tall metal was produced for the Massachusetts Woman Suffrage Association and has the names of Gertrude Leonard and Teresa Crowly printed on the tail. Leonard was chairperson of the Massachusetts group and Crowly was a ground-breaking attorney who served as chairperson of the group's legislative committee. The bird has only a few minor scratches and has retained its bright colors.
