Thich Quang Duc was a Buddhist monk who protested against the Vietnam War by setting himself on fire on the streets of Saigon in June of 1963. John F. Kennedy said of the photograph: “No news picture in history has generated so much emotion around the world as this one." The picture on this 1 1/2 inch celluloid became famous world-wide as a symbol against the war. Excellent condition.
