Harry Truman gave the civil rights movement a big boost during his presidency, desegregating the federal workforce and the military in 1948 and also supporting other equality measures. His actions often were at odds with Southern Democrats. That didn't stop Harry nor did it prevent this scarce 2 inch celluloid campaign button. Few tiny surface bumps.
