US Senator Eugene Talmage Georgia 7/8-inch celluloid, excellent condition. This is a scarce pin from a 1936 Democrat primary that pitted Gov. Eugene Talmage against Richard Russell. Talmage was a famous segregationist and the father of Georgia Sen. Herman Talmage. Russell defeated Talmage in this race for a US Senate seat.
