A scarce and interesting Jimmy Carter campaign pin. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid says "Support Carter Appuyez." Appuyez means "Press" in French and this pin was made in Ottawa, Canada. It has an edge cut at 10 o'clock. On the other hand, Jimmy never made a trip to Canada while president, so there is some thought this actually is a pin made for a Canadian named Carter.
