Sarah Bagley was a pioneer in the women’s rights and labor rights movement. She was one of the founders of the Female Labor Reform Society of Lowell, Mass., in the 1840s. Here campaign for 10-hour work days started her on a life of working for reforms. This 1 1/2 inch celluloid from the early years of the 20th century remembers her for her early work for women workers. It's a rare pin with Billocks and Miller back paper, excellent condition.
