When Theodore Roosevelt went on his African safari, the locals called him “Bwano Tumbo,” which roughly translated from the Swahili means “portly master.” This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is a rare TR pin with that affectionate name at bottom. People back home loved reading about TR’s exploits and you can bet they loved this rare Bwano Tumbo pin, Excellent condition. This is the first time we have ever offered this great item.
