Eleanor Roosevelt was big supporter of the Wiltwyck School for Boys opened in 1936 for African-American juvenile delinquents in Esopus, NY. By 1942 the school was threatened with closure due to lack of funds. Roosevelt and others came through with a fund-raising that saved the school. It eventually closed its doors in 1981. This unusual 1 ¾-inch celluloid helped save the school, excellent condition.
