President Carter was for Texas but Texas didn't go for Carter. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid is from 1980, when Ronald Reagan carried the Lone Star State. By the way, Carter was the last Democratic presidential candidate to win Texas when he topped Gerald Ford there in 1976.
