The People's Party met at the same time as the National Silver Convention in St. Louis in July of 1896. This is a 9 1/2-inch People's Party delegate ribbon from that convention. Some thin areas at top, few places where blue has been lightly stained. The party backed William Jennings Bryan for president, Tom Watson for VP.
