The American Eagle perches atop the world on this colorful 1896 campaign pin. One of the big issues of the day was protection of American industries from foreign competition, and this 1 1/4 inch celluloid lets you know William McKinley and Garret Hobart are all for it, right down to the little dollar signs on the eagle’s wings. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is a rare pin with a vertical cut on right side, Whitehead and Hoag BP.
