Maritime Federation We Want Roosevelt Again

A scarce labor pin supporting Franklin Roosevelt again. This 1-inch celluloid was made for the Maritime Federation, a forerunner of the AFL-CIO Maritime Trades Department. The Maritime Federation existed in 1936-37 before collapsing. It was strictly a West Coast coalition of seafaring and longshore unions. DC does not represent Washington, DC but instead is the San Francisco based District Council 2. A rare FDR labor pin in excellent condition.
