“Louella Parsons Day” was held on Sept. 14, 1941, in Dixon, Illinois. Parsons was the original movie gossip columnist. Her column appeared in more than 400 newspapers and she was known as the “Queen of Hollywood.” She grew up in Dixon, Illinois, which also was the hometown of Ronald Reagan. They came back home for a special day in 1941, and brought along other Hollywood stars. Both of these 2 inch celluloids are from that big day in Dixon history. The Reagan pin is excellent, Parsons pin has a few tiny spots. You get them both in this lot.
