Harry Truman was presented with an 8-Ball trophy while speaking to the Los Angeles Press Club in 1948. He said, “The president’s behind the 8-ball a good deal of the time, but I manage to get out of it.” The term became a campaign symbol for Truman and is presented here on a scarce 3 1/2 inch celluloid in excellent condition.
