No collection is complete without a George Washington item from 1789. This is one of the most famous of those Washington pieces: the GW Linked States. This 1 3/8 inch medal features GW’s initials and the slogan “Long Live the President” at center with 13 linked circles around the border, each one with initials for one of the original 13 states. Loop is broken off back of this item, front is sharp. A classic Washington piece.
