Archibald Willard’s famous painting “Spirit of ’76” inspired this scarce Yankee Doodle and Dewey presidential campaign pin. The 1 inch litho has a scuff at center but is in way better shape than most of the few pins of this design that have survived. Made by the Green Duck Co. of Chicago. Of course it is from the great Stan Mersand Dewey collection. The three times we've had this pin before it has sold for from $635 to $1075.
