A rare, colorful and fun Tom Dewey campaign pin from 1948. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid pictures the White House and says, “Get Your (Ass) off the Grass, It’s Dewy.” That ass also could be called a Democratic donkey. It was made by the Philadelphia Badge Co., excellent. From Stan Mersand collection. Twice over $1,000 and once $1893. A great classic Dewey pin.
