Ronald Reagan was born in Tampico, Illinois, but lived in Dixon, Illinois for much of his childhood. The interesting thing about this unusual 2 1/4 inch Reagan celluloid from Dixon is that it pictures Reagan as a baby. Reagan was born in 1911 and his family moved to Dixon in 1920, so Reagan certainly didn’t look like this when he arrived in Dixon. However he looked, it doesn’t detract from this hard to find Illinois pin in excellent condition.
