A rare New York coattail from 1896. William Sulzer was a congressman who failed to win the Democratic nomination for governor in 1896. In 1912, he was elected governor but ended up as the only New York governor ever to be impeached. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid from 1896 has a Whitehead and Hoag back paper and is in excellent condition.
