July 23, 1936 was a big day in Topeka, Kansas – it was notification day for Alf Landon. This rare 4 inch celluloid was made for members of the Union League Club of Kansas City who traveled to Topeka to watch Landon accept his presidential nomination. This pin has some light scratches you can see when you hold it at an angle in the light, but still is an impressive looking item. A great opportunity. A scarce and desirable pin offered at a very reasonable starting price, from the Dr. Bennett Frankel collection. This is a pin that in better condition has brought over $3,000.
