A very scarce Minnesota Hubert Humphrey campaign item. Roy Weir was a member of Congress from 1949-1961 and also served on the state board of education and in the Minnesota house. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid was from a Humphrey U.S. Senate campaign and was made by Wendell-Northwestern of Minneapolis. Excellent condition. Seldom offered, clever design, and a Minnesota coattail pin from the collection of Dr. Bennett Frankel. The pin has brought around $1,000 in some earlier auctions.
