The Japanese Empire was known as the land of the rising sun because to the rest of Asia, the sun comes up over Japan. In fact, Nippon translates into "source of the sun." This World War II cause pin is a 1 1/4 inch celluloid that proclaims, "Let's Set the Rising Sun." Excellent condition.
