This rare circa late1770s brass "King and Constitution" button was made in Philadelphia by artisan Robert Scot. The 1 3/8 inch medal with loop back pictures a crown inside a flower and was made to support the restoration of the House of Stuart back in England. This fascinating item from the days of the American revolution is in near excellent condition with just a few small surface marks.
