Joe Smith for Stevenson and Kefauver Club

It all started when Terry Carpenter nominated fictitious Joe Smith to replace Richard Nixon as vice president on the 1956 GOP ticket. Harold Stassen liked the idea so this scarce 3-inch celluloid says the Stassen-Carpenter Chapter of the Joe Smith Club really helps democrats Adlai Stevenson and Estes Kefauver. Excellent condition.
