Members of the House of David were famous for their baseball skills ... and their long hair. The House of David was a religious group from Benton Harbor, Michigan, who took to the road as a barnstorming baseball team in the 1920s and even hired “ringers” including Grover Cleveland Alexander, Mordecai Brown and Stachel Paige. This 3 1/2 by 5 1/ 2inch postcard in excellent condition pictures the team.
