A rare Rutherford Hayes-William Wheeler jugate from the 1876 election. This 13/16 inch gild brass shell pinback features a sepia image of the candidates. A great item from one of the most controversial elections in American history. Similar to DeWitt RBH 1876-39, excellent condition. We also have the matching Tilden-Hendricks jugate in this auction.
