Benjamin Chavis Jr. was a civil right activist who was sent to jail as part of the Wilmington 10, arrested in 1971 after a protest against segregation in Wilmington, NC. Chavis spent nearly a decade in jail before being released. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid is in excellent condition.
