Eugene Foss was a Boston steel and real estate tycoon who served in Congress for a short while and as governor of Massachusetts. This celluloid pin pictures Foss as a businessman who would make a good president. The back paper not only carries Whitehead and Hoag’s name but also a Foss quote about the tariff, an issue dear to his heart. The 1 1/2 inch celluloid is in excellent condition.
