Elect John F. Kennedy to Congress Card

A rare and very early John F. Kennedy campaign item -- this 3 1/4 by 45 1/2-inch card picturing a baby-faced JFK is from his run for Congress in 1946 in Massachusetts, when he topped Michael Neville and others in the Democratic primary to win the seat. The back of the card includes endorsements for Kennedy and guess whose name is at the bottom of the page as the person responsible for the card – Dave Powers. The few times this card has appeared in recent years, it has sold in the $1,500-$2,000+ range. Excellent condition.
