Defend tolerance, justice, truth 3/4 inch litho, nicks. World War II era made to support a young Jewish man who was accused of killing a Nazi official in 1938 in Paris. The pins were part of a campaign organized by a New York journalist to help Herschel Grynzpan, a 17-year-old Jewish man who was accused of killing German diplomat Ernst Von Rath. The Nazis used the killing as an excuse to launch Kristallnacht. He was arrested by the Gestapo after the fall of France and eventually disappeared.
