A rare postcard showing Ohio Gov. James Cox arriving in Dayton on a special train after the March, 1913 flood. The flood was a legendary event in Ohio and did extensive damage to southwestern Ohio including Troy, where Anderson Americana is located today. In fact, our building was mostly under water in 1913. Cox was from Dayton and rushed to the scene to assess the damage. First time we've offered this 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch postcard, some slight corner wear.
