Breckinridge and Lane 1860 Ferrotype Jugate

John Breckinridge and Joseph Lane made up the Southern Democrats presidential ticket in 1860. Breckinridge finished second to Abraham Lincoln in the Electoral College in that election. The two are pictured on this 7/8-inch ferrotype jugate stickpin from the election. This is a very rare third party item from the 1860 election and it is in excellent condition.
