When former heavyweight champion Max Baer faced off against Joe Louis on Sept. 24, 1935, the whole world was watching. Louis knocked out Baer in the fourth round. Less than two years later, Louis would be heavyweight champion of the world. This 5 ¼ inch ticket with stub is from that landmark 1935 fight. One of our boxing experts tells us this actually was an item made by NBC radio to promote the fight. Excellent condition.
