The Citizens Committee to Defeat Helen Gahagan Douglas of Los Angeles distributed this cartoon flyer. Her opponent in the Congressional election: Richard Nixon. Cartoon shows Douglas and Henry Wallace flirting with the approval of Josef Stalin. It’s a rare 6 by 9 inch item from early in Nixon’s career. Excellent.
