John F. Kennedy was wildly popular with young people. This rare celluloid pin reaches out to those young voters. The picture makes it an even more youthful item – JFK looks like he’s barely old enough to vote himself. This is a classic Kennedy 2 1/4 inch celluloid that was made for use in his 1958 U.S. Senate race in Massachusetts. His landslide victory over Vincent Celeste in that election helped set the stage for his presidential campaign two years later. Faint mark top center. From the Bob Dawson collection.
