William Henry Harrison’s 1840 campaign changed American politics. The Whig Party appealed to the common man by association Harrison with a log cabin and hard cider, and it worked. This piece of textile was a part of that historic campaign. It’s a framed, 11 1/2 by 14 inch item that pictures Harrison at top center with the words “Harrison and Reform” and pictures log cabins and a barrel of hard cider at the bottom.
