President Gerald Ford returned home to Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Oct. 29, 1974, for the first time since becoming president. Jerry got a big welcome in his home town that included pins like this one that pictured the front grille of (naturally) a Ford. This design was made in a couple different colors – this is the blue and white version, with a few tiny spots. These pins were hand-made and this one even has the date scratched on the back (10-29-74).
