An 1853 book that is the obituary address in Congress for Vice President William Rufus King, who was elected in 1852 but died in April of 1853. King was in Cuba for health reasons when he was sworn in and is the only vice president ever sworn in outside the U.S. This rare 63-page, 5 11/2 by 9 inch hardbound book is in excellent condition.
