Theodore Roosevelt Embossed Hat in Ring Pin

Throwing your hat in the ring was an old boxing term – spectators would throw their hats into the boxing ring when they wanted to challenge the champ. Theodore Roosevelt used that term in 1912 when he attempted his political comeback. This scarce 1 inch pinback pictures TR’s hat with his initials embossed on front. Excellent condition.
