The Yellow Dog howls at the moon on this scarce circa 1930s celluloid. And what, you ask, was a yellow dog? One group was composed of Southern Democrats who so loyal that they would vote for “an old yellow dog” before voting for a Republican. But there also was a Royal Order of Yellow Dogs masonic group. This 1 1/2 inch celluloid with St. Louis Button Co. back paper features some spectacular artwork and is a scarce pin in excellent condition.
