Judge Julius Hoffman became famous while presiding – well, at least while attempting to preside – over the Chicago 7 conspiracy trial in Chicago following the 1968 Democratic Convention. Hoffman was tagged by critics with the nickname “Magoo” after the bumbling cartoon character Mr. Magoo. Abbie Hoffman and other defendants enjoyed making Hoffman's life miserable. This “Screw Magoo” pin is a 2 1/4 inch anti Hoffman celluloid in excellent condition. Ken Gross collection.
