Roosevelt and Garner Beer License Plate

Drinking and driving don’t usually go together, but here's one case where they were a perfect match. This scarce license plate from 1932 is a true classic Franklin Roosevelt item. FDR promised to end prohibition and this 9 3/4 inch metal license made that promise clear, picturing FDR and John Nance Garner with a full mug of beer. Made by Green Duck of Chicago, it has some minor surface marks but is in way better shape than most. It comes from the Al Anderson collection and makes a dramatic display item.
